Diego Ibarra Sánchez

Diego Ibarra Sánchez is a photojournalist from Zaragoza (Spain, 1982) based in Lebanon since 2014 and specialised in long-term projects. A regular contributor to The New York Times since 2012, in September 2022 he published his first photobook The Phoenician Collapse, a personal exploration of Lebanon’s descent into chaos. Since 2010, he has been looking at the ways in which war affects education; he has received numerous international awards and exhibited in American, European and Asian galleries.
