Juan David López Morales is a journalist and political scientist based in Medellín, Colombia. At El Tiempo, he worked on the digital team and also for the judicial section. In 2020, he was part of the El Tiempo team that won the Simón Bolívar National Journalism Award in the multimedia category for its investigation into the identification of the victims of the 2002 Bojayá massacre. His interests range from human rights to the Colombian conflict and the transitional justice, to politics and culture. He currently works as a freelancer for El Armadillo, an online media of which he is a founding member.
