Ethel Bonet

Ethel Bonet is a journalist specialising in the Middle East. The focus of her career has been to highlight the direct consequences of conflicts on society, an area often neglected by the mainstream media. Since 2003 she has been covering North Africa, the Middle East and East Asia, making countries such as Morocco, Egypt, Pakistan and Lebanon her home. She is the author of the book Genocidio del pueblo yazidí (Genocide of the Yazidi People) and gives lectures at the University of Alicante, the Complutense University of Madrid, Casa del Mediterráneo and Casa Árabe.
