Gusatavo Dudamel, born in 1981, is a Venezuelan composer and conductor. He directs the Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra of Venezuela as well as the Los Angeles Philharmonic, and is former director of the Gothenburg Symphony. A Grammy Award winner, he was named among Time Magazine’s most 100 influential people in 2009.
