Inés Pousadela

Inés M. Pousadela is a senior research specialist with the global civil society alliance, CIVICUS: World Alliance for Citizen Participation. A political scientist and a photographer, Inés also teaches a class on global civil society at Universidad ORT in Uruguay. Before joining CIVICUS, she alternated academic research at various universities, with independent political consultancy at various NGOs and international organisations. She has produced several books, chapters and articles on political representation, social mobilisation, participation and accountability, as well as resources for civil society practitioners in Latin America.
