Francesca Borri

Francesca Borri is a war reporter specialising in jihadists. After a few years in Ramallah, Palestine, as an international law expert, in 2012 she switched to journalism to cover the Arab Spring. She was the last foreign reporter to leave rebel-held Aleppo, and since then, she has been in most conflict hotspots. So far, her work has been translated into 24 languages. She is based in Kabul, Afghanistan.
