Gökay Sofuoglu

Gökay Sofuoglu has been chair of the Turkish Community in Germany since 2014 and is a municipal councilman in Fellbach. Born in Turkey in 1962, he came to study pedagogy in Germany in 1980 and worked for the NGO Caritas as a social pedagogue in the field of domestic violence. He became chair of the Turkish Community in the state of Baden-Wuerttemburg in 1999.
