Atahualpa Blanchet is a researcher at the Institute of Advanced Studies at the University of São Paulo (IEA/USP) and, since 2018, secretary of the Mercosur Parliament Committee on Labour and Employment Policies. He studies the impacts of artificial intelligence and human-algorithm interaction in the world of work and is a member of the research and teaching body on human rights and new technologies of the Mercosur Institute for Public Policy on Human Rights (IPPDH).
